          Ham is often accompanied by sweet things…

          Not in my house, buddy. We’ll eat the dead pig as god intended, smoked and salty.

        Peppers are a fruit. I think you mean to say it makes no sense to put sweet and sour things on savory things, because that’s a flavor combination that never, ever works.

          Um, sweet and sour chicken/whatever protein you want is a dish you’ll find in every westernised Chinese eatery, and it’ll be one of the most ordered dishes.

            Sorry, that was meant as obvious sarcasm. There are many dishes from practically all cuisines that combine sweet, sour, and savory flavors.

        You gotta let it cool a bit, but once it does it’s like grilled pineapple. Pineapple tastes good.
