    It’s not vocabulary. Hieroglyphics are an alphabet. What a smarty pants dumb dumb that first replier is.

      akshually, hieroglyphics use logographic, syllabic, and alphabetical elements to form a logography which can be used as an abjad

        In many texts, writers play with different or unusual ways of sounding out words perhaps to make the visual representation better. Ugh. Here’s a link if you’re interested in learning more
