The dev for the reddit sync app has announced that he will be creating sync for Lemmy, so a huge userbase from that app has already or will be migrating over (including myself). There has been a lot of buzz in that community about Lemmy, including posting step by step guides to sign up for Lemmy and explaining the fediverse. With as polished as that app was, I’m excited to see how it transitions to Lemmy.
Thats what brought me here, I’m currently using connect which seems decent enough but if sync gets up and running I’ll have to move back over for familiarity
I wish Reddit apps were promoting Lemmy in their shut down message to users.
