        Yeah I believe it was specifically designed to be easily defeated in the courts, but I can’t remember where I read about that

      President Biden plans to announce new measures to protect student loan borrowers following a Supreme Court ruling that halted a student debt relief plan. The ruling prevented more than 40 million borrowers from receiving loan forgiveness, a major setback to one of Biden’s key campaign promises​

      The original program, launched in August, would have cancelled up to $20,000 in loans for Pell Grant recipients and $10,000 for other borrowers earning less than $125,000 annually​

      Despite this, Biden pledged to continue seeking relief for middle-class families, suggesting that the fight is not over and blaming Republican officials for the obstruction​

      The President also intends to make clear to student loan borrowers that Republicans are responsible for denying them relief​
