A coworker of mine used to be in upper management at Google, and apparently helped increase ad clicks by a 8% during his time there (I have no idea what the scope of his responsibilities were, so that number might not mean anything).
He eventually realized that he wasn’t making anyone’s life any better (quite the opposite) and decided to quit and find something meaningful to work on.
