The Russian poet Lev Rubinstein, a key figure of the Soviet underground literary scene who later protested against President Vladimir Putin, has died days after being hit by a car, his daughter said.
Yet another innocent victim of the Putin regime.
Just think how many young Russian poets have been sent off to Ukraine to die.
I pity them for not managing to dodge the draft. Or for believing in the Kremlin propaganda and willingly going to be slaughtered.
Putin is willing to sacrifice Russia’s future for his own current glory.
