It is clear that r/gunners is much more up to date than lemmy.world/gunners. Once Reddit API’s come into effect, r/gunners will only be available on the official reddit app. Will anyone be willing to make the sacrifice, browse r/gunners, and then post all the same links/images on lemmy.world/gunners? I will for sure do my part. There is no need to drive traffic to Reddit more than necessary.
I definitely don’t think we need every post to r/gunners posted here. Especially during silly season I personally found it real hard to follow all the rumors being posted by random people. I think we will need people to post highlights, discussions, team news, and stuff like that, but I’m perfectly ok with a smaller active user base
Yeah, as much as Purple Panel seems to have genuine sources and may be another Bell, I’m happy keeping something like that to just discussion threads and Twitter. The big ones (Romano, Mokbel, Watts, Ornstein) are probably enough.
