On battle.net the Diablo Prime Evil Collection is on sale for $20. I don’t really want to spend $70 on Diablo IV so I am considering this instead. Are the older games still worth playing?

It probably helps that I played it a lot around release, but I totally can still go back to D2 and have a good time today. I do find myself missing some of the more modern systems and QoL stuff, but 2/3/RoS/etc. for $20 sounds great.
