The relationship/divorce treadmill, watching your old friends go on and off the market over decades. the 30 year olds are either in committed relationships with kids or not whatsoever. the 40 year olds of either type are on the dating apps, fresh divorced and back on the market or never married wondering why the supply has gotten shy. I did notice a spike around @28 when the early achievers finished their first divorce, those ones are usually 3x married twice divorced at the end…the one i spent ten years with, she was an early divorcer, 27 when we started, 36 when she left me for a man she’s already divorced and she’s 43. I only know this because she called me out of the fucking blue, wanted to visit.
