I’m currently working to completely rework the layout my father and I own.
One of the bigest musts is continuous traffic.
I saw this trainstation plan and quite liked it.
The “dead-End” from Track 2 is for additional expansion in the future.
Do you have any ideas and suggestions? What do you think of it?

Length x Width: 3m x 1.2m
Max. train length in the above ground station: 1.3 m (to not block switches)
Max. train length in the shadow station: 1.5 m
Height between the two layers: 10 cm
Max. slope: 3.3 %

Nothing wrong with a good long-term goal! :D
Currently we’re still in the process of creatively acquiring stuff and running it on a layout that is “definitively just temporary and will get replaced soon” (it is close to 20 years now :D)
