    Our local big box hardware store has shut down all regular checkout lanes. And swapped everything to self-checkout. It’s a fucking nightmare. There’s only 4 lanes, and 1-2 of the comps are always out of service.

      Ours only has two cashiers open, so each line is always 10-15 deep.
