    Looks like some Reddit migration is starting. Community passed over 700 which is exciting.

      Feel like so many people are still used to being lurkers, can’t exactly have a thriving community if all 700 are lurkers lmao

        I’m really loving the community here. I’ve already posted and commented more in the 3 weeks on Lemmy than in my 11 years on Reddit.

          Same. I used to chime in every so often on the sub, but on here I’m more active than I’ve ever been

        I used to comment only occasionally on Reddit. I’m definitely making an effort to be more engaged here. Hopefully it’s similar for others.

        In saying that, there is value in people whose only participation is voting. Internet points for some reason make the brain happy, so I think it keeps some actively engaged people going.
