Don’t think they told anyone about doing it early yesterday. They had been saying July 1st the whole time then BaconReader went down along with RIF, Apollo, etc yesterday June 30th. One last fuck you to all the devs that actually helped grow that site.
They pulled the plug at exactly 00:00 UTC. Didn’t give a shit about timezones. Or their home turf of NA to be into July 1st. They did it as soon as any point on Earth was in July 1st.
