    Thought the same thing. How about 3rd party reddit apps use lemmy’s API instead?

      Hell, even a reddit api wrapper for the lemmy api.

      I’m curious if it’s really that easy. It needs more front end functionality to account for the different instances and the way lemmy works.

      they can’t just replace the API, it is a different website, different features etc.
