Its looking like Microsoft is gonna buy Discord. Preferably open source, and has a big userbase, and has Windows and Linux option. (but mainly windows because i only game on windows now.)

matrix is working on native group calls and video rooms are in labs in element web/desktop, so it’ll eventually be able to be a discord alternative if your looking for voice channels
Yeah someone else commented this too, absolutely awesome! I wish the mobile app gets it soon. Also, I would love to self-host this for LAN Parties.
