    Apparently Villa fielded Maritz in their Conti Cup match 🤦‍♀️​

    “However, Aston Villa possibly fielded an ineligible player in their 7-0 victory over Sunderland in Group A. BBC Sport understands the Football Association is investigating whether Villa did so when they brought on Noelle Maritz as a substitute, who has previously played in this season’s competition for Arsenal.”

      Could that be a new tactic? Lol

      Play a player in a cup, loan them out, new team plays them incidentally, team investigated

      I’m actually not sure about cup games, but does a team list have to be submitted before hand? i.e. PL and CL

        @nuggsy don’t know, but either way, you’d have thought someone at Villa would have asked her before the match
