Many people now consider the internet to be a second home. The University of Queensland has shed light on an interesting part of our online lives: the appeal and effects of being anonymous. Thanks to the hard work of smart PhD student Lewis Nitschinsk from UQ's School of Psychology, a new study looks into why we choose to hide our identities online, revealing a complicated web of self-expression and, unfortunately, harmful behavior.
