As a scottish person I found Hogg’s interviews quite hard to watch knowing how the rest of his year would turn out. Loved seeing the spotlight on Kinghorn though; he’s definitely the future of our team.
Other stray thoughts: I’m not sure how many people this will engage who do not already watch rugby. Seemed to be aimed at yanks when they emphasise the violence over the skill. At the same time that made it a frustrating watch for people who are extremely familiar with rugby and can recognise the little details like the commentary being re-recorded.
Also if I never see another pair of budgie smugglers that will be too soon. I assume it was product placement but it didn’t work for me.

Drive to survive got the same criticism about commentary, but I enjoyed the narrative, can’t just replay the whole match!
I’ve enjoyed getting to know other squads a bit more too, contrasting coaching styles and the hype is building for this year nicely
