The targeting of another U.S.-owned commercial ship Wednesday shows the militant group remains intent on continuing its attacks in the face of multiple rounds of U.S. military airstrikes.

The Houthis launched anti-ship ballistic missiles at the U.S.-owned, flagged and operated commercial ship Maersk Detroit as it was transiting the Gulf of Aden, according to a statement from the U.S. Central Command. The U.S. Navy destroyer USS Gravely shot down two missiles and a third fell into the water. There were no indications of damage or injuries in the attack.

The U.S. military has been conducting airstrikes against the Houthis to degrade their capabilities since Jan.11, after several weeks of attacks on commercial ships by the militant group.

Are you talking about israel vs their neighbours right now or about America?

You stated everyone was getting cratered. Who do you define as everyone?

No, I commented on a thread about the US being stretched to provide support for Israel and Ukraine. You made it about Israel only. But on any case I think Israel can crater the Gaza strip without much damage other side.

Hamas picked a fight they can’t win.

Yeah israel hasn’t cratered Gaza yet because they’re so nice and totally not genocidal.

You do know that israel lost their previous war with Hezbollah right?

It’s pretty bombed to shit in the north. Cratering means the entirety with the civilians inside.

lol, No that just means making craters. But none the less, I don’t see the same type of change taking place on territory held and populated by Israel.

I doubt Hamas could even come close to revisiting the same destruction upon Israel. They can’t even save themselves let alone go on the offensive. None of the marginal allies of Hamas really give enough of a shit about them to help them even try.

I think we are about a third of the way through the “find out” stage for Hamas. It will be interesting to see how much is left when they are done.
