My wife made homemade sourdough English muffins. They were stretchy and chewy and utterly amazing. I am ruined for grocery stores English muffins.

      They were so damned good. The ones you get at the grocery store are always dry and tough. They’re really only good to eat toasted and soaked in butter or covered in jam. These you could pick up and eat plain, without butter. I love…LOVE chewy bread. All the fresh breads like naan and pita are stretch and chewy.
