same, I wonder who paid the price for the stress of commuting and the time wasted? Yep, me, myself. So I am not going back to office even if they offer some rebates for that. Nothing beats that you have time to go pick up your kid casually and talk about their day on the way home. I can always do a bit more later if it eats into my performance check. And I still got pretty good feed backs and got a raise/extra bonus this year, despite they barely know what I looks like. (since I don’t usually plug in my webcam even during meeting. I have the habit of still keep working on stuff during not so important meetings.) With important meeting I usually like to share just what I am worked on instead of sharing my boring unshaved face.
