Since this is federated and quasi-anonymous, there isn’t and never will be a dispute resolution department. Both seller and buyer must take extraordinary measures to prevent scamming. That’s why I highly recommend local pickup/exchange. Meet in a busy public place and wait for the funds to clear your wallet before you let the person walk off with your gear.
I would say the best way to handle BST type of exchanges would be for in person as well. However, going back to basics and utilizing feedback sites such as heatware would likely be the way to go if deciding to ship things. I wonder though, if heatware will allow for some form of “transfer” of feedback from reddit in some way.
