    Sega arguably did lose eventually though, with the same strategy that helped them win the early parts. They pushed for bleeding edge hardware at a time when returns on hardware were a lot lower and the market didn’t really know what to do with it and ultimately had to shutter their hardware production. It’s a shame too because the Dreamcast did look pretty good for the time and was the first console with online play long before Xbox brought LAN to the living room.

      They lost, but they also survived. I know because their logo pops up whenever I play a Total War game.

        Lmao fair enough still better than the confederates did. The Yakuza series is testament enough to their success as a studio too it’s not like they just keep dragging Sonic out every year (I mean they still do but there is some good shit as well)
