Marvel’s ‘Echo‘ reportedly had a $40 million budget, the lowest among Disney+ MCU shows, while other MCU shows on the platform typically ranged from $140 million to $225 million.
In comparison, ‘Echo’ had a production cost of $40 million, whereas ‘Secret Invasion‘ had a production cost of $212 million, and ‘She-Hulk: Attorney at Law‘ had a budget of $225 million.
That’s going to be tricky as long as Sony holds Spider-Man film rights.
They could do it in a TV show. You don’t really need Tom Holland if it’s all masked. Otherwise it’s unlikely they’d get him to come back for a show.
Spider-Man is quippy, so you’d need Tom Holland.
I’m also not sure if it’s just film or if TV is included.
So, I just looked it up. I thought Disney owned TV rights under a certain time frame. Turns out Disney only owns animated rights under 45 minutes. Sony owns animated rights over 44 minutes and all live action TV rights.
Also, for the record, Hudson Thames voiced him in What If…? and is expected to voice him for Freshmen Year.
The next trilogy is set up. He’s got a low grade suit, no tech, nobody remembers Peter Parker, he’s on his own in a shitty apartment. The next film series which may include Holland, would be a good fit for kingpin
