How come whenever I subscribe to a Lemmy on a different instance it just says “subscription pending?” I don’t know if these means I’ll never actually be subscribed, or if I am and will see the posts in my feed but am not counted among subscribers from that instance? I’m not tech savvy so I’m hoping someone can help!
Far as I know its for subscriptions on another instance, for example if you sign up on lemmy.world but subscribe to a community on sopuli.xyz. I’m using Liftoff app, the pending subscriptions seem to show if I wait a short time before refreshing my subscriptions page
Oh got it! I thought I was seeing posts from those communities on Liftoff but I was confused because if I actually go to their page it still says “subscription pending” 😂
