To me that seems like fascists co-opting ussr aesthetics to help justify the killing of ppl they deem lesser.
I mean, it absolutely is, I’m just saying that those co-opted aesthetics are enough to convince some people, unfortunately.
Idk about what’s going on with Russian parties like the RCP, I haven’t looked into any of that.
The Russian Communist Party is essentially token ‘opposition’ at this point that conveniently agrees with every major United Russia endeavor.
Personally I think the US has a responsibility to aid and also work with zelensky on negotiations (on Ukraine’s terms ofc) to end the war.
Zelenskyy has made it clear ever since the mass graves were discovered in Summer 2022 that only the total withdrawal of Russian troops is going to be regarded as acceptable. So we’re probably looking at another two years or so of war, assuming nothing comes out of left field.
