One use case I can understand is having a 2nd monitor for checking stock prices or checking for a certain event. Other than that, I don’t see how it contributes to “productivity” while working or coding for example.

Damn I only have 3 monitors, I wish I had 4. I could have like 6 honestly.
If colour and response time don’t matter then consider a 4k tv. I use a 50" and it’s a great format.
I’ve got an ultra wide, and two 27" monitors, and wish I had 2 more 27" sometimes.
