Tried recreating one of my favorite works by Van Gogh on a much smaller scale really happy with how it turned out for the most part. This will probably be the last time i try to recreate someone elses work for a while, cause i feel like it bastardized the whole point of impressionism.
Oils! Fantastic. It’s nice and affordable to work on a small scale and then paint larger when you have confidence. I’ve been doing some myself, prefer outdoors to inside with all the distractions ;)
