Hello there,

I’m Kat. I’m new to this lemmy thing but I am on mastodon (@[email protected] ) and I am newly on reddit but am familiar with it.

I look forward to interacting with everyone.

    Hello and welcome!

My first suggestion for anybody new to Lemmy is to check out your local community list and the Lemmy Explorer for interesting content. A personalized feed is much nicer than All (Federated feed on Mastodon).

I also try to upvote generously to encourage people to post more stuff. Hope you’ll enjoy your stay.

Thank you. I’ve found so many new communities to fit my interests.

and i’ve found 2 lemmy apps for my android tablet. I might install one if i can find one on my iPhone.

i do also rather like the…minimalist design so far. I’m on mastodon as well but i’m on meow.social :D

Welcome! I’ve been using Connect for Lemmy on my Android and it’s been awesome.

I dunno about iphone apps, but if you want to browse on iphone for whatever reason, you could try Voyager! It’s available as a standalone app on android (you can get it through F-Droid if you’re keen on that) but it’s also a web app which you can use on any device. It’s based on Appolo, which you might be familiar with as an iphone user if you ever used third party apps for Reddit back in the day. https://wefwef.app/
