A bill to make it easier for South Carolinians to access alcoholic beverages overcame a key hurdle Friday when the state’s House of Representatives passed it this week.
To obtain the compensation, a woman would need to file an affidavit with South Carolina’s Department of Social Services indicating that she would have chosen to terminate her pregnancy if not for the state’s ban on the procedure.
first you have to admit to wanting to do something the state sees as bad/ immoral and put your name down on a government registry?
The state would also cover “costs associated with health, dental, and vision insurance for the child until the age of eighteen, including payment of any premiums, copays, deductibles, and other expenses,” according to the bill.
SC does not cover enough on Medicare or Medicaid as it is plus there is a medical staff shortage in the state not to mention the state of education in the state
yes SC is a state with educational teachers that believe in creationism and yes it does bleed into educational instructions during class
and with both parties using the fall of Roe vs Wade for political gain not sure if there will be a solution to this anytime soon
once something is banned it may take a century or more to correct just going off of the history of things banned in the past
