US President Joe Biden has angrily criticised an investigation that found he mishandled top secret files and said he struggled to recall key life events.

In a surprise news briefing on Thursday evening, Mr Biden insisted: “My memory is fine.”

He slammed a claim that he could not recollect when his son died, saying: “How the hell dare he raise that?”

The inquiry found Mr Biden “wilfully retained and disclosed” classified files, but decided not to charge him.

If Trump wins the Republican nomination, and somehow isn’t convicted of a crime that is disqualifying, yes.

That is hour the process in a presidential election works.

On an unrelated note, I’m furious at the Georgia prosecutor. That case was the easiest to win, absent the stupid personal corruption.

So Trump can shout random nonsense the entire time when it isn’t his turn to talk about whatever stupid fantasy comes to his head? Ignoring and even making shitty accusations toward the moderator and lying about what he’s said in the past and lying about his portrayal in the media? No fucking thank you.

It isn’t a required part of the process. It has always been an agreement between good faith actors. There is no good faith in Trump’s intention. He didn’t just ignore his own party’s debates, he held competing programs on another station to try and overshadow them.

If there is stupid personal corruption with the Georgia prosecutors, even in the complaint there is no bearing on the facts and procedure of the case. I hope they let the case continue and open up something separate to investigate those shenanigans.
