Real quality games that last around 8h are definitely rare. It does, however, feel like things are picking up and hopefully Quest 3 combined with the Vision Pro enthusiasm will bring in more people which leads to a bigger market where these games have a place.
Also, tbf quality titles take time and if you decided to start developing your game once you saw the success of Quest 2, it’s only been 2.5 years since, so maybe there are a bunch of these in development and they’re just not ready yet.
Yeah there does seem to be a bit more interest recently. I’m trying to be optimistic about it. I was very optimistic when the quest 2 launched but really the best game was re4 and I’ve played that through 3 times now, where’s my gta San Andreas lol.
