I ordered a regular cheeseburger and regular fry, total was $20 without tip. That’s fast food, so how is a $22 burger at a hipster place so unbelievable?

Because regular fries serve 2 people. A burger is 12. Almost half the cost of this meme.
If you get the single person fries it’s an $19 in one of these more expensive cities.
