This news is for the UK and it’s been out for a while, but I’m hoping it’s going to spread quickly. How do you see this changing how you pack?

It’s about time! London has been by far the strictest about liquids of all the airports I’ve flown through. I haven’t had a separate bag for liquids for a while, and never had a problem until I flew through LTN. It seemed like a huge waste of time for everyone involved.
How did you manage to get through security without a separate liquids bag?
I guess I don’t carry enough liquids for them to flag it - usually just foundation and lip gloss (and sometimes the 2 oz contact lens solution). I have it all in my toiletry bag, and at some point stopped taking it out, and it wasn’t a problem. I’m also usually flying in the US w/ TSA PreCheck so maybe they already have the upgraded scanners for those lanes.
I still get flagged if I forget about a lip gloss - definitely none of the new scanners here yet, though.
