minus-square@WaxedWookielink1•1 year agoMetaphors aren’t literal, but they are descriptive. Describing something that doesn’t stop as something that stops is a bad metaphor. “Hair of midnight” is a metaphor, but not one you’d use to describe a blonde. This isn’t complex.
First you don’t understand a metaphor and then you take it literally.
