Hello! There hasn’t been any trouble in this community so far, but just in case, I’d like to have some other mods on the team. Preferably someone not in the Pacific time zone (europe or asia would be preferred) so there’s better overall coverage.

If you want to join the team, just reply here with your experience with moderation as well as your general moderation philosophy.

My moderation philosophy is simple, I don’t want to do anything if I’m not forced to, so I prefer to let people upvote or downvote things, and only if someone is breaking the rules do I step in.

I’d also like new mods to talk through rules changes, as what I’ve put as the initial rules are way too simplistic.

Completely valid point you’re making. Having modded very large and active communities, it does turn into something of a shitshow after a while. As to the purpose of the community, that’s really something that has yet to be truly decided other than generally Diablo based. Likely not a meme lounge, I would say, but that’s up for debate with the community at large.

Feels like the sweet spot will likely land somewhere in the middle? Probably want a nice balance of content type to give it the best chance of flourishing. From a modding point of view I think it always comes back to that clear ruleset that’s consistently applied… The tricky part is actually doing it!
