Paul McCartney's 1961 Höfner bass, which was stolen decades ago, has been returned, the former Beatles member confirmed on his website.

The bass was recovered by three lifelong Beatles fans who started The Lost Bass Project in 2023 in order to track down the stolen guitar and return it to McCartney.
