I’m not sure, I’ve been to DragonCon a few times, but not since the 90s.
Since it’s been brought up, I have to tell my favorite DragonCon story- I was walking outside up the street between the two convention halls that it was being held in and one of the members of GWAR in full makeup was walking the opposite way (sorry, I don’t know GWAR well enough to tell you which one. He had horns? I saw them play later which is how I know) and he looked around and yelled, “THERE’S A BUNCH OF FREAKS AROUND HERE!”
This has to be at DragonCon in Atlanta, right? That hotelin the background is just way too familiar.
