It’s kinda wild just how quickly they managed to blow all the ground they’d achieved painting a narrative about the Yemen Civil War,
They went from put upon victims of saudi aggression to instantly proving the Saudis point about why they were so paranoid about an Iranian ally having any control over the red sea trade.
Like they literally went and started doing the exact thing Riyadh was raising excuse about just to Israel instead of them, MBS probably spends his private hours whooping and dancing like a lunatic over how perfectly this all went down for his agenda in the region
And it doesn’t help they have been for about 6 years now somewhat sporadically. They just now have what they feel is a better justification for doing it more often. Even though it’s bullshit. And they pretty much randomly attack whatever ships are around.
Iran backing stupid terrorist groups like this is exactly why the Saudis and Israel started talking about a historic peace deal between them. To put their issues to rest and focus on Iran being assholes to everyone around them.
