minus-square@filisterlink8•edit-27 months agoI wonder why the US and Israel are not members of the ICC. /s Funnily enough family members of the hostages held in Gaza flew to the Hague to press ICC to investigate Hamas, source: https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/israeli-victims-oct-7-press-icc-investigate-hamas-2024-02-14/. Which in my books is quite hypocritical, considering that Israel itself doesn’t honour the ICC rulings. And the whole fact that the US withdrew their signature speaks a ton of their sense of impunity and being above international law. Laws for thee but not for me.
