Yep, been like this since corporations became people over a decade now.

Hooray for 10+ years of oligarchic corporatocracy, late stage capitalism appears to now be terminal stage, flatlining, resurrecting fascism and inventing neofeudalism!

What bull. It’s ridiculous that we equate an idea with real human lives. People who experience pleasure and pain, bleed when cut, have families. Only a monster would consider a business a person.

Welp I wish there were more people of your opinion back in… god, was it 2010? Somewhere near there, when the Citizens United case was decided.

Oh well. Theres literally no way to fix it now sans basically a widespread general strike, and thats not gonna happen in America anytime soon.

There’s a plan, one with a real chance that’ll start 5 years from now. Have a look and if you like what you see, start preparing

They’re only people when it comes to lobbying rights, not when it’s time for accountability.

I was being a bit glib but yes this is more accurate.

A person can be sent to prison in many cases either functionally or precisely for non payment of debts.

Corporations on the other hand in many cases exist entirely for the purpose of either taking on ludicrous debts and then dissolving what they owe into nothing via bankruptcy, or in Mitt Romney’s case, exist entirely for the purpose of parasitically extracting all the wealth out of other corporations and then making them kill themselves via bankruptcy.

Its just a fun game for the wealthy, who massively personally profit off of it all, as they destroy the very economy and society they lord over.
