Hey y’all! Kicking off this community with a few flowers I’ve been enjoying immensely: Zealousy #43 (by Information Entropy) and Starburst 36 #1 (by 710 Labs).

Bless the church we call Information Entropy, and Becks for her incredible recs!

Awesome man will give it a shot next time. Been meaning to make it out to Ann Arbor to check things out, too! As far as I can tell that’s where this all started in michigan haha

May you find incredible weed! Ann Arbor really does provide. Information Entropy, Arborside, Winewood… all my favorites. Also, I’d love to read a book about the history and future trajectory of cannabis in Michigan. Feels like the game changes so fast now

Same here! I’m very lucky to border such a great state for cannabis. To me it seemed like Michigans industry exploded overnight.

Absolutely. I spent some time in California then came back to the mitten. All I can say is I was surprised and very happy with the state of things when I returned haha

Thanks for modding this community! 🤘Hopefully Indiana’s (I’m assuming based on the communities you mod) legal wave starts turning towards the better, but MI will always be here for our midwest brothers

No problem! I spend a lot of time and money in Michigan and I figured we needed some of the niche cannabis subreddits for the Midwest here. Trees is nice, but I care more about local cannabis than pictures of glass and whatever (though that never hurts either lol…) And yep, I’m hoping indianas government gets their head out of their ass soon… not looking very likely this time around though. Lol

Hell yea, I’m grateful for it. I’m doing my best to contribute where I can and cultivate good vibes. I rarely posted to r/Michigents because of the sometimes weird / exclusive vibes. I’m thinking about distilling some of the knowledge from that community for our benefit (e.g. dispensaries to check out vs. avoid)

Hoping for IN government heads to see the light of day lmao

Yeah, I never posted there either lol. It seems like a much more friendly bunch of people on this site, I can post reviews of shitty carts here without worrying about elitist attitudes 😆. I did learn a lot about what brands are actually good, though, so that was a positive.

I feel you! I learned a ton from that community. There’s a (not so) fine line between helping others find quality product, and being an elitist asshole.
