Who doth join me this Day of Hunp?

We may be anonymous strangers on the internet, but we have one thing in common. We may be a world apart, but we’re here together!

Welcome to the 24 hour pledge! I’m pledging myself to not drinking today, and invite you to do the same.

Maybe you’re new to c/stopdrinking and have a hard time deciding what to do next. Maybe you’re like me and feel you need a daily commitment or maybe you’ve been sober for a long time and want to inspire others.

It doesn’t matter if you’re still hung over from a three day bender or been sober for years, if you just woke up or have already completed a sober day. For the next 24 hours, let’s not drink alcohol!

Day 21… Three weeks, still climbing out. Yesterday was pretty free from craving; hoping today is that easy. Busy days are easier. Maybe the dang walleyes will start biting this evening. Even if they’re stubborn as hell, I will not drink with em today. And I won’t be drinking with you fine people for the next 24hrs, either.

        Thanks, Z!

Think I’m still adjusting in some ways… But getting better.

These daily posts, and the good people here in the threads really help me to stay on target. Thanks to all of ya!

I’ll be sober as hell with ya this day!

Three weeks is awesome man. I feel you on keeping busy. My knee has kept me sedentary and it’s been tough. Luckily I was able to get on the treadmill and do a light workout yesterday and It’s feeling good today so it’s time to start moving again. I’ll send some good vibes your way in hopes the fish are hungry.

Thanks, man. Glad to hear you’re getting it in motion! With Spring rolling up soon, hopefully you’ll be able to get up on it and spend some sweet-assed outdoors sober-time strengthening up and getting yourself back to normal, maybe even better than normal I hope.

As far as the damn walleyes go… They’re definitely on the run, I’m just striking out the last couple trips. It’ll pick up, them big girls should be coming up the river soon.
