Hiya folks,

Was watching some videos today, and I am using Newpipe on mobile, Freetube on PC and SmartTube on TV. However, I have been curios about two things.

  1. Does the viewership count when using these services to the videos?
  2. Does the “subscribe” count increase when using these services? Or is it just purely local, the subscriptions i mean.

    I use newpipe and I’m pretty sure subscriptions are local, since I don’t have a Google account. I’d expect that the views “count” since newpipe uses yt’s web interface underneath.
