This is exactly the episode I was imagining. When I saw this scene, I was a teen in the 90s and the thought completely freaked me out.
The scene was just a small part of the episode of I remember right … and leading up to it, you absolutely despised the Ferengi, then this happens and you automatically feel terrible for them because they just ended up completely cut off in the wilderness of space … they would have days or maybe weeks to survive on their own until the air was used up, theit energy supplies died out or they ran out of food
