minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink2•11 months agoI don’t know but it might be inextricably linked to Googles content servers or reliant on services in such a way that it can’t simply be stripped of the telemetry in the way VSCodium is for example.
minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink2•11 months agoChromeOS uses a custom display server for the moment, but Chrome + is pretty similar. 🤷🏽♂️ ChromeOS is moving to Wayland as their display server, to make it even more of a standard Linux install.
I don’t know but it might be inextricably linked to Googles content servers or reliant on services in such a way that it can’t simply be stripped of the telemetry in the way VSCodium is for example.
