On Thursday Tres Genco was sentenced to six years and eight months in prison followed by five years on post-prison supervision for his 2020 plot to “slaughter” women at an Ohio university.
Federal. The Atlanta Spa shooter was charged under Georgia’s hate crime law. I can assure you, the SPLC knows what they’re talking about. Studying and reporting on hate crimes/groups is their whole “thing.”
Not the first, maybe the first to get sentenced before doing something stupid.

He wasn’t sentenced under hate crime laws though. He plead guilty to simple murder charges.
