What are some of the non-sexual pleasures men enjoy? For example, I like saunas and soaking baths with salts and scented candles.

Literally anything a woman would enjoy, a man could enjoy. Take away our genders, and we’re all just people.

My question is: do you think you like saunas, soaking bath salts, and scented candles because you’re a woman (I’m making an assumption about that)? Do you think that if you turned into a man, would they suddenly become unpleasant to you?

I am a man and am interested to know what other men like so that I can try those things. Of course we can also like what women like. I specified non sexual and for men because whenever I searched it the returned results were always of sexual nature.

I’m sorry for assuming you were a woman. I think you’d get much better answer if searched for something sans gender if you haven’t tried it already such as “ways to relax” or “simple pleasures” or “easy ways to wind down”.

Asking here is obviously a viable option, but if you choose to look around more using a search engine without getting dirty results, that might be worth a shot.

For the record, I really like ASMR. There’s a ton of stuff that’s kinda just softcore porn which is always a bummer to discover for me because I liked having a purely physical, nonsexual sensation to enjoy, so I prefer keeping them separate. Plus, most of that stuff seems to be people missing the mark on what ASMR is. Like, bandwagon folks.

I find it interesting that you assumed OP was a woman based off of the things listed (I almost made the same error). This is why the asking (and answering) of these sorts of questions is important. We learn by keeping an open mind and being curious about the world and people around us.

The assumption was made based on the phrasing of the question because it reminded me of when articles and people view the opposite sex as some kind of enigma. I was wrong though. About to reply to OP to apologize as well.
