I see posts talking about good BIFL items but I don’t hear much about the other side of products that are bad or products you bought but don’t even use.

Hundreds of years ago, these same types of people were probably quite upset when others started writing “maybe” and “because”, yet I suspect their modern equivalents use “instead” and “alphanumeric” without issue.
