A few years ago I was at the hospital but halfway through the team came in and said they couldn’t do it at the hospital and we had to go to the vet for a fucking MRI scan because the one at the hospital is apparently only for actual skeletons with no meat on their body, aka skincels.

When we’re at the vet there was a fucking HORSE in the MRI machine before me and it left a bunch of hair on the machine, I have a very severe allergy to horse hair so when I got in the machine I immediately screamed in pain as I felt the allergic reaction on my skin and the doctor told me to stop overreacting, my husband was there and he didn’t even defend me from this abuse so I threatened to divorce him.

After I got my scan done the doctor said if it was uncomfortable I should try to lose weight so I can go in the small MRI at the hospital which I found terribly fatphobic, I spat at the doctor for his behavior and he told me to leave and cancelled my future appointments wtf???

Anyone else had experience of fatphobic treatment from healthcare “professionals”??

    I don’t know what you just said. I’ve never heard of half those words.

    But if you’re too big for a human MRI and need one for horses, there’s a problem there. Not a problem with society or attitude, but a problem with how big you are. You’re literally exceeding the maximum human size to use human things.

    Also, you spit on people. That’s gross.

    Go to the gym and reduce your calorie intake. Eventually you’ll lose weight, feel great, add 20 years to your life, and be able to use human medical equipment.

      OK that’s literally a hate crime, so please stop or you’ll be banned from this community. Also, it’s never been scientifically proven in any laboratory that this is a way to lose weight, some people are just lucky and get blessed with a very large appetite, some people are unlucky and like to exercise and eat s*lad 🤢.

      I don’t see how the hospital refusing to get a normal sized MRI scanner, and not one for stick insects is my fault? The horse one was also a tight fit but that’s because it was for baby horses I think.
